Community guidelines

UNFILTERED works because people can be honest without being exposed. These rules protect that. Breaking them gets content removed; serious or repeated violations get accounts removed.

1. Stay anonymous — really

No real names, usernames, phone numbers, emails, addresses, schools, workplaces, or identifying details about anyone — including yourself. Posts that expose private people get removed.

2. No harassment or hate

No bullying, threats, hate speech, or content that targets people or groups. No encouraging others to pile on someone.

3. No sexual content

UNFILTERED is for opinions and dilemmas, not adult content. Anything sexual involving minors is reported and removed immediately.

4. No spam or manipulation

No scams, link farms, vote brigading, or duplicate posting. Votes are one-per-person and manipulated totals get reset.

5. Dilemmas, not dossiers

Share situations, not people. "My friend did X" is fine. "My friend [name] did X, find her" is not.

Privacy, plainly

What we collect

Your email and a hashed password, used only to sign in. Your posts, votes, and comments, tied to a pseudonym — never your real name. Basic rate-limit records to stop spam.

What we never do

We never sell your data, never post to your other accounts, never use your posts or messages to train AI, and never show your email to anyone.

Your controls

Delete any post you made, anytime. Delete your whole account from your profile — your email and login are removed immediately and your posts are unlinked from you.

Honest limits

We will not promise perfect anonymity: we keep minimal security logs, and we will share data if legally required to. We tell you when that happens when we are allowed to.

Crisis situations

UNFILTERED is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number first. Moderators remove content that encourages self-harm and will point you to resources, but response times are not guaranteed.
